2011 Achievements
Stuart attended the 2011 Gyson Scottish Hillclimb / Sprint Championship Awards at Atholl Palace Hotel, Pitlochry Perthshire and won the following awards:

The 2011 Guyson Scottish Speed Championship
The HillClimb B1 Modified Car Division Champion
The 2011 Modified Car Division Champion
The 2011 South Champion

Came Second in the 2011 Scottish Sprint Championship and set 5 New B1 Class records on the Hills & Sprint. Stuart was part of the 3 man team that won the MSA international Trophy for Scotland against Ireland & England.

Latest news for 2010
Update on the racing. Stuart was 1st in B1 Class at Kames on 11th April, 2010. 1st in B1 Class at Doune on 17th April, 2010 and also 1st in B1 class on 18th April, 2010 Doune.

Stuart Finishes as 2009 Champion
Stuart finished this year as B1 Class Champion for the sprint and also the B1 Hill climb champion for the second year running. Broken 5 x B1 class records and holds the B1 class records for the following tracks GOLSPIE, FORRESTBURN & BOYNDIE in all a very successful year. The engine is now being taken out to be rebuilt by MED of Leicester ready for the 2010 season

2009 competitions have included: -
Kames East Ayrshire on the 12 April and we came second in B1 Class but were beaten by 1 /100 of a second but we were still setting up the car and engine management system.

Doune in Lothian was a two day event 18th / 19th April, won both days in B1 Class and won by 2.8 sec over the guy that had beaten him at Kames by 1/100 of a sec.

Work was carried out on the engine management system and Webber remapped it to improve the performance.

Fintray was a two day event 9th / 10th May and we won both days in B1 Class.

As you can see Stuart is off to a good start in the Scottish Sprint and Hill climb Championship following on from 2008 when he won his class.

Car specs
The 2009 car is lightened and a new engine and gearbox has been fitted. The engine is now a 1380cc MinI Cooper by MED of Leicester fitted with a Dog box and a 3.9 /1 LSD. Now giving 133 BHP at the engine giving 110 BHP at the wheels. Engine is also fitted with a New Webber Alpha Computerized ignition system (EMU) giving Max rev of 8500 RPM.
